Biennial Bible Conferences
Early in Dwain Penn's ministry, the church he was involved with hosted an annual Bible Conferences with various pastors from local churches participating. It was always the highlight of the year.
When Penn became the preacher at New Hebron, he felt that he should use his expertise in that field of hosting conferences. The first Bible Conference was held the week prior to third Sunday in November 2001. Subsequent conferences were held every other year due to the fact New Hebron has no members and the effort to organize and host such an event is monumental.
Here are some posters from previous Bible Conferences. To see the current poster, scroll down to the bottom of this page.

Saturday night, November 14, 7 p.m., is the premiere of Dwain Penn's presentation of “The Robert E. Lee Experience.” The title may be changed to “The Reluctant General R.E. Lee,” since preliminary research has shown that Lee initially did not want to be the commanding general of the southern troops! Stay tuned for more surprises on that Saturday night.
Sunday, November 15, 3 p.m., will be the service many have anticipated for 364 days! The Dickens Carolers of Columbus, GA will return with their outstanding Victorian Christmas Concert. Call you neighbors! Fill up the church van and bring it! Tell everyone you know that this service is worth the pilgrimage from far and near. Relatives, friends, enemies and acquaintances of Preacher Penn and New Hebron, come out and help pack the pews so that the singers will have to take refuge in the heater alcoves during story time. This, without doubt, is the most professional show that has graced the pulpit of New Hebron in decades. You won’t be disappointed.
